Amazing shot! The soft focus really captures the cuteness of this little guy perfectly. I have no idea how you got such a vibrant green background, but it is absolutely perfect next to the tiger's orange fur. That said, the (blue?) object to the left of the subject is a tad distracting, which I'm sure you couldn't help. Also, the human hands interfere on the moment a bit; it would be ten times cuter if we could see that right paw clutching the bottle, I'm sure. The fact that you got to photograph a tiger cub, though, is probably enough. Wouldn't want to interfere with their feeding to get a good shot Seriously great angle. I love his little nose hairs
Thanks for the great feedback! I really appreciate it. I literally had 5 seconds to get the shot. The blue thing is the man working at the reserve's shirt and since it's a baby tiger he had to keep holding it and holding the bottle too so I thought just focusing on the face would be better because if the paws had been in the shot, the guy's hands would've been even more distracting. I tried "minimizing" the distraction but I guess you're right. Hopefully, the next one will be better
Haha, not in Finland, I think. All the laws and stuff are very strict. Our zoos have very big enclosures too. So you really never get too close of the animals. But on the other hand, they have pretty natural, nice conditions and not too much interfiering from humans.
(not that your photo would be an example of that, I guess that little tiger were orphan or something?)
You are so lucky being able to take beautiful pictures like that. The baby tiger is adorable. I wish I had the chance to take pictures of wild animals. Keep on the good work, you have an amazing gallery!
